Craig is back on the podium
This was a great result and helped cancel out some of the problems which forced the car to retire at the previous event.
The Silverstone Sports2000 round was a supporting race to the Britcar 24 hour race so the paddock and circuit was a hive of activity in the build up to this huge competitor and spectator attraction.

Forty-six cars started in the parade lap at the prestigious Silverstone track just after lunch on Saturday. The front four cars pulled away from the rest of the pack, the first few laps did have some very exciting and close racing. Craig moved into third slot after four laps and settled into some consistent times for the rest of the race – he was back in business and at the front with some very experienced drivers taking the chequered flag whilst retaining the third place.
A great weekend for Craig and another trophy for the shelf, these good results certainly make the long journey back home just that little bit easier.
Craig is now looking forward to the quick turnaround for the final event of the 2011 Sports2000 Championship which is part of the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch this weekend.
