Villagers embark on 122-mile cycle for MS Society
In fact their ‘crawl’ – in aid of charity rather than for pleasure – could even see them enter the record books!
And it won’t involve one single drop of drink. Well, not much anyway.

Hide AdOn Friday and Saturday a small team drawn from the neighbouring villages of Leadhills and Wanlockhead will be mounting a 122-mile trek from the highest pub in England to the counterpart record-holding premises in Scotland, their very own ‘local’ The Wanlockhead Inn.
Their expedition is being sponsored to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the event being inspired by Leadhills former firefighter Callum McKelvey who is suffering from the early stages of the condition.
