Popular Mayfest arts and music gala is back
Supported by G66+live and East Dunbartonshire Arts Council, three village hall trusts are presenting the 2015 Mayfest of art and music.
The project by Lennoxtown’s Campsie Memorial Hall, Milton of Campsie Village Hall and Torrance’s Caldwell Hall, runs from Friday, May 15 until Wednesday, May 27.

Hide AdCampsie Mayfest convener Dr J Wallace Hinton said: “There are 14 events to choose from so there’s something for everyone.”
Events include an art exhibition/sale, ceilidhs, folk music, painting workshops, pop bands and an art and photo competition.
There will also be a countryside walk, art demo and a range of singers, including classical, jazz and rock.
Dr Hinton added: “Twelve of the events are free.”

The project is being promoted by Voluntary Arts Scotland within their ‘Voluntary Arts Week’. News of further events will be released nearer the time.
The popular annual event has been a huge success in recent years with many perfomers and people supporting it.
