Loon on the Moon by Chae Strathie
Chae (36), who originally hails from New Lanark, wrote the colourful kids book the Loon on the Moon after an evening looking at the moon with daughter Eilidh.
And following the success of previous books the Tickle Tree and debut book My Dad Chae, he is hoping Loon on the Moon has similar success.

Originally from New Lanark, Chae now lives with his wife Corinna and Eilidh in Lundin Links, Fife.
The Loon on the Moon is his first with new publisher Scholastic. The story centres around the Loon who zooms down to Earth on his Loonzoomer to suck up all the dreams that leak from the children's ears.
The book is also noted for the fantastic illustration work by Emily Golden.
