Charity is the real winner from all-star match
The two star-studded teams from the worlds of football and entertainment took to the pitch at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in aid of Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation.
The charity, which aims to make the lives of children with life-threatening illness a bit easier and happier as they are going through treatment, is currently trying to raise £50,000 to provide a permanent holiday home in Ayrshire.

The foundation’s dream co-ordinator, Angela Cook, said: “We would like to thank all the players who took part and everyone who came along to support the event because they are all amazing.”
The match was contested for the Jordan Dyas Harden Memorial Cup and Jordan’s mum, Claire, presented the trophy to the winning captain, former Motherwell and Celtic star Tom Boyd.
The charity’s next big event will be the inaugural ball at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on October 3.
