Boys’ Brigade recognise their young hero
Jamie Martin (6) was just five-years-old when he dialled 999 after witnessing his father Tony taking a turn for the worse on Sunday, January 20.
The News and Chronicle previously reported that the youngster, who lives in Ravenswood’s Tiree Court, was watching a DVD with his dad when the 36-year-old fell to the floor and a seizure took hold.

Hide AdMum Elaine (32) was out of the family home for the evening but quick-thinking Jamie called for medical assistance and ensured his dad was comfortable.
His efforts were recognised by the Boys’ Brigade nationally at a special ceremony that was held for the 1st Condorrat Boys’ Brigade member in Condorrat Parish Church on Sunday, April 28.
