THE CUMBERNAULD Male Voice Choir restart their practise nights for the season and as a means of increasing their numbers (present members number 48), they are holding open nights on Thursday, August 28 and Thursday, September 4, from 7.30-9.30 p.m.
These will be held in the Village Hall in the Wynd.

They are inviting the male members of the community who like to sing to join them and get a taste for a delightful recreation.

The choir's repertoire consists of songs from the great musicals, quality contemporary songs and traditional male voice choir pieces.
Apart from their annual concert which is held in the New Town Hall in May each year (they performed to a total audience of 560 over three nights last May) they give concerts for charities on request. This coming year, eight concerts are planned, stretching to Greenock in the west and Polmont in the east.

We understand that there will be an interval during the open nights and light refreshments will be laid on to soothe dry throats. Go along and join and look forward to pleasant activity in the winter evenings.
